Watch Philip Glass and the Philip Glass Ensemble (PGE) perform at the iconic composer's own Big Sur-based Days and Nights Festival in 2011, in an evening of Glass's seminal works for the PGE -- the principal performers of his work since 1968. The concert features Glass's Music in Similar Motion, Façades, "Building" from Einstein on the Beach, excerpts from Music in Twelve Parts, and "Dance IX" from In the Upper Room.
