Having thus excluded conversation and desisted from study, he had neither business nor amusement. His ideas, therefore, being neither renovated by discourse nor increased by reading, wore gradually away, till at last his anger congealed into madness.

Not going to mince words here: When a grad-school fash like Richard Spencer announces his support of Biden, he’s not saying Biden is “subjectively” a fascist, nor is he saying that he himself has abandoned political reaction. He’s saying Biden will shepherd the bourgeois state in an objectively fascist direction more effectively than Trump. For a fascist, this can only mean one thing: That Biden will shore up the failing revetments of the bourgeois state in a way that will forestall any insurrectionary momentum from the Left. This kind of momentum is actually useful for the fash as long as it remains a rumor or, as it were, a specter. A real, sustained, and broad-based insurrectionary movement is the only thing that can erase fascism permanently from the face of the planet. Once again, Marxism is proven correct: Liberalism is “objectively” nothing more than a fall-back position for one wave of fascism, and an incubator for the next. Join a communist, socialist, or Marxist organization today.
