"Trump does not have the Constitutional, Legal, or Moral authority to tell governors what they can do at all, including how those governors choose to lead their states during this pandemic. He can’t order a governor to open or close businesses, he can’t give permission to a governor to do anything, because he doesn’t have that authority.
Political journalists and the major cable and print news outlets are just uncritically playing along with his assertions of power and authority, and that’s a huge disservice to Americans.
We have an impeached president. We do not have a king."
