Having thus excluded conversation and desisted from study, he had neither business nor amusement. His ideas, therefore, being neither renovated by discourse nor increased by reading, wore gradually away, till at last his anger congealed into madness.

Don’t from MP Cunningham on Vimeo.
Everyone gets lonely. I think thats a pretty normal thing. So I thought I would take care of the problem and make a video that girls could watch when they come home from a long day of work.
Quit playin though, you’re beautiful.
INSIDE (2011) / extracts from the project by Dimitris Papaioannou from Dimitris Papaioannou on Vimeo.
INSIDE took place in a room set inside a theatre in the centre of the city.
A simple series of movements showing our daily return home was uniformly repeated by 30 performers in countless combinations and superimpositions.
Six hours on stage with no beginning, middle or end.
The theatre doors opened every day at 17.30 and closed at 23.30. The stage action began before visitors came in, and continued after they left.
Visitors could watch as much as they liked, sit wherever they liked, exit and re-enter as many times as they liked.
INSIDE treated the theatre as an exhibition space and the work as an exhibit, and invited audiences to act as visitors, watching the action as if gazing at a landscape.

FOLSOM STREET
A kink and fetish fueled dance explosion in celebration of the 2015 Folsom Street Fair.
Folsom Street Fair 2015 is Sunday, September 27, 11am – 6pm on Folsom Street between 8th and 13th streets in San Francisco, CA.
folsomstreetfair.org
San Francisco has long pushed culture boundaries, radical self-expression and sexual freedom. Today awash in stories of the changing face of the city and its quickly eroding creative communities, “Folsom Street” joyously celebrates the rich history of diversity that pushes the limits of raw sexuality that make this city the exciting cultural haven that it has always been.
Directed by Aron Kantor and featuring Broadway performer Colin Cunliffe, notorious nightlife promoter Mario Diaz, gender-queer drag queen Grace Towers, and a variety of San Francisco dancers and performers, the film serves as both a metaphor for the Folsom Street Fair and an example of the possibilities of queer community effort and activism.

Near my highschool!
“That line [’I wish I knew how to quit you.’] has moved, it has been mocked, it has been everything in between, but I remember coming out of that scene, off that ridge of the hill, and seeing a number of the crew, some of whom didn’t even know what the movie was about, crying. When I first read that line, I was like, ‘What is that?’ Now I realize that anybody who has loved knows what that feels like. The interesting part of casting us at such a young age was that we didn’t completely understand what we were involved in, and that’s the beauty of the movie as well.” —Jake Gyllenhaal

Just Married
Members of The Blue Max Motorcycle Club — Fernando, seated on the bike, and his husband — talk with a police officer. c. December 1969.
Courtesy ONE National Gay and Lesbian Archives.Pretty sure th’ fuzz is just congratulating the happy couple…
The Blue Max Motorcycle Club was founded in 1968 as an alternative to L.A.’s gay bar scene—where the LAPD often harassed, entrapped and arrested men—with annual “motorcycle runs” throughout California on various roads and campgrounds. By the late 1970s, 20 gay motorcycle clubs were formed, each with its own distinctive traits and themes. Each club had official and unofficial uniforms, insignias and colors. The Blue Max Motorcycle Club became known for its irreverent references to Kaiser Wilhelm II of Prussia and the Red Baron, and in 1969, the first annual Red Baron Run began.
